just wondering whether the orange with white stripe wire behind the centre console is the one that goes to the car light control switch???
cos the head unit i bought has the orange and white stripe wire that has to connect to it but just double checking whether the one in the centre console is the same...

Could be but dont assume that because its same colour it should match up

READ WIRING DIAGRAM FIRST and if that fails get out voltmeter or even test light to check them all first

i tried that but i couldnt find it or im not reading it properly

check diagrams from previous threads they are here somewhere
OR just use voltmeter etc when you turn on lights it should tell if that it is light wire
