passenger side kick panel

does anyone know what the bracket is for, on the passenger side kick panel? looks like it is for a torch, maybe?

Its for a flare. In Japan they are allowed, but not here. They generally get taken out when the car is complied although one or 2 have snuck in. A torch fits perfectly in the hole, you just need to get one the right size.

    a flare, eh? sounds like fun, never know when you might be stuck out at sea in your FTO.

    I want one too ... But I headr you can get them from like a boat shop ... Just not sure if it looks the same ??? Never seen a jap spec car one....

    the ones I am looking at getting are $5 each a lot cheeper than any boat shop :D
    and they should be jap spec ones too.
