6A13TT Engine/ECU/Uncut Loom

Hi all,

Recently I had some transmission problems after importing my Legnum VR4. As such, I recently aquired a 6A13TT engine package of Engine/Trans/Transfer case/Loom/ECU/ of which I used the transmission for my car.

I'm now left with the Engine, Full uncut loom, ECU's (Engine,Auto & TCL) and piping. I would like to sell the lot for $1,000 plus delivery, but would also consider parting it out, pending if I can get enough money back from the parts. I.e. if you wanted ECU, Turbo's, manifolds, Loom, ECU etc, make an offer and if I can get enough interest in the parts individually I'll let them go.

I have read that the turbo's and manifolds can be used to turbo the 6A12, or the whole 6A13 package can be bolted in. The loom was removed without cutting a single wire, and all connectors are there to be wired in. I can get access to full pinouts of the ECU also, should someone want to go aftermarket etc.

So please post up what you are after and I'll decide from there. Although my preference is to sell the lot in one hit, parting it out may be the way to go (pending interest).

Cheers
Lee

Sorry, located in Adelaide, SA.

But i'm willing to help arrange shipping - can get the engine onto a pallet and to a yard if need be.

As a guide for parting it out, some of the prices I was thinking of for parts:
Both Turbo's - $300
Turbo Manifolds - $100
ECU's (engine & trans) - $150
Full uncut loom - $100
Injectors - $120
AFM - $80
A/C condensor - $200
Alternator - $95
Inlet Manifold - $80
Rocker Covers - $80
etc...

no gearbox or drive train? :(
this may sound like a very very noob question, but can someone confirm is i'll be able to stick this + an awd gear box and diff, dirve train etc into an fto shell

Not without huge modification / fabrication work.

As a general rule of thumb; if it were easy to do, someone would have already done it.

Dropping in a 6A13TT is reasonable, AWD conversion is not.

Exact kms are unknown unfortunately, but I think ~90k. The parts retailer I bought it off does not import any engines over 100k so definately less than that. It's had the timing belt changed which mitsubishi recommend at 85k for the 6A13TT.

The trans i've used is in excellent condition, (can tell its be regularly serviced) as would the engine be.

haha feel free to ignore my last post regarding the whole tip box with turbo... certainly should have read the turbo fto section before looking like a complete dipsh**t. still keen to do conversion though..

Freight to Sydney should be around $250-$300 with Air Road Freight. I can get an exact price if you are very keen. Note this includes everything except a gearbox which leaves it up to you to pick auto or manual ;)

No worries, maxing out credit cards is never a good thing  .
Just be aware I have it advertised on a number of forums, so if someone else comes up with the $$ I can't hold it for you unless you put down a deposit.

cheers

OK, ECU is sold.

Will take $650 for Engine & Loom - then you can pick any engine management you like and have it wired in direct to the factory loom. That is $650 for everything manifold to sump (long engine)

Below are some indicitive freight charges (depot to depot) so you would need to pick up from the local depot, but still pretty cheap prices!

Melbourne $113.17
Sydney $136.22
Brisbane $142.80
