Youll need a new switch mate. You could try a wreckers, or you could wait until I get an answer back on a new part price from Japan (which should only be a couple of days - Ive already sent the request ;) ).

      OK,

Brand new one will set you back about $50 by the time it gets here (add postage on top). You might be able to track down a second hand one for less than that if youre lucky.

that may be a good idea :D as it would be good to have as a spare part in the tool box.

Pull the switch out and look at the terminals on the back. If they are scorched, its a high probability thats the problem. If its not scorched, it still could be the problem, but its almost a dead cert if there is black scorching on the back.

If you stick a multimeter on the back terminals of the switch, there should be current going through the switch when it is on and not when its off.

            Just the switch.

A new one from Japan will be around $50 and take 1 to 2 weeks once ordered

You really need proper switch as the others are for park light/dash light circuts as these turn on with the foggies too ;)
however I have done same as you but done a complete new circuit for foggies but unless your confident in wiring this up using relay and wires from scratch I would suggest you just replace factory switch :D

to be honest its same as wiring up any relay circut
just google wiring up fog lights and should find a decent way to do it
but bear in mind that you will need wire thats heavy duty enough to handle some decent heat and the switch will have to be minium 30amp too so it wont burn out......
also check laws on wether fog lights have to come when headlights are on? or if high beam has to turn off when they come on? or if they can be turned on at anytime as our laws are slightly different to yours
And a good point to remember is always keep grounding wires same gauge as power wires or you will burn something out :D

Oh and make sure you use inline fuse :!:
