Sounds about right ..

The total cost sounds about right. I guess they added the installation into the total price ..

Extractors from RPW is about $600
Add in the ceramic coating of $300
High Flow Cat for $350 sounds reasonable.

So they charged $400 for installation.

Overall it doesn't look so bad.

I was charged $160 for installing extractors .. & putting on a CAT is maybe an extra 15 mins work..
Plus you can get a good CAT for around $200

Don't worry about the cost.

If you are happy with the results then that's all that matters.

Maybe if you shopped around and went somewhere else you may have saved $50-$100 but it would have held you up and cost you more than that in mucking around.

So how much better does the car go now ? More power ? Better Sound ?

And yes, Liverpool Exhaust supply RPW so you would be getting the same extractors minus the psotage cost of sending from Sydney to Perth back to Sydney.

Good choice on the ceramic coating too, look forward to seeing it.

yeah fitted mind was about 1.1k cat back. The extractors can be a a sh*t job if the bolts have siezed up a bit. anyway for the sake of a few hundred...who cares as long as the job is done right with good parts.

Im not following why everyone is surprised.

But Dan to answer your question, I put back in the stock airbox with a K & N panel filter into the UAS pipe. Having the extractors and cat in place gives the car a lot more bottom to mid range. It accelerates with a lot more urgency and definately worth the (expensive) money. In terms of, its not raspy like someone else on here has with their car, but a deep growl. Im assuming the sound is going to change as more carbon residue is deposited in the tubing. But im happy with the sound now. I mate give the pod a go and see what it sounds like.

Next part might sound weird though. before the extarctors and cat went in, during acceleration was just that. I got an increase in speed and you could hear the exhaust note. But now during acceleration you can hear a distinct whistle sound, kind of like a turbo, without the whoooossshhhh? Dont know where its coming but a first guess would be from somewhere during the intake process. Don't know for sure but i like it
