new alternator or control box price?

i got a new battery today as the previous one was too small the power was lagging.
is it worth fixing tha control box? how much roughly would a new one or alternator cost?
anyone had to change/replace it??

You would be much better off getting the alternator you have reconditioned (unless its toast and by the sounds of things, yours is OK). Most auto electricians could arrange that for you.
