my new extractors?

Post by maggsy »

i recieved my extractors today, WOOP

but when i got them out of the box i was surprised to see that they were covered in a dark blue metalic paint sort of stuff, some of it was flaking off on parts of it..

is this how they are meant to be or is it possible that they are old store stock or even returned stock?

if i wanted to paint them how wouold i go about doing so. i want them to be a nice light blue to match the rest of the engine bay stuff.

Yeah, your local auto shops should heat a heat resistant paint. Comes in spray can & is specific for exhausts. The only one I've bought that actually stayed on the pipes was the Auto One brand.
