Just got an Apexi S-AFC

Post by maggsy »

I just picked up an Apexi S-AFC for $200 off a mate 8)

i'm going to wait until my engine build is done and then going to get it installed and tuned.

Does anyone have any info i should know about before i get it installed.?

There's not a whole lot to it. Wire it up, make sure you have a fresh tank of fuel and clean spark plugs before you tune it.

Don't expect too much from it though, you will get sfa from throwing it onto an N/A like the FTO - and if it's tuned incorrectly is likely to land you in more trouble.

Good to see you posting KD.
What KD said +1.
Though the only alteration i'd make imho is you do get a bit of gain, 5kw atw (MAX!) dependinng on your current state of tune and mods.

Anyways, it's a cool gadget to have, plus gives you a little bit more power. I used to have one in my fto before i sold though it was the safc2...which i then sold for 250 on ebay.
