What do you think of this GPS Tracking?

Would this be ideal as an anti-theft device? Just place is securely in your FTO and track it online. I have not researched if there is others who provide the same at a lower cost.

They don't need that, they'll just put an RFID chip in you ;)

I'm pretty sure the Evo 9's came with these or at least somethng similar. You have to pay a fee or subscription each year to use it and Mitsubishi replaced the unit in a mates car 4 times and it still doesn't work properly. Sometimes it says it's 100 kays away from where it is or on other occasions (more than once) he has disarmed it and gone for a drive only to get a call telling him the car has been stolen. My friend was far from impressed and last I heard had disabled it.

Ths has been around for years. My old boss had his Porsche pinched from work & when he walked outside to get in it, it flew past airborne with 2 shady characters at the wheel. His phone rang & the tracking company said 'Your car has been flogged.'

The company rang the cops, the cops setup a road block when the car hit the freeway & the tracking company remotely disabled the car as it approached the road block. Car came to halt in front of the cop, 2 guys arrest, car returned missing only a tank of gas.
