Fuse for Airbag

Post by RalliartBoy »

I have a feeling I have a blown fuse for my Airbag as I was playing around with something today (on the car) and now the light is showing on my dash.

Not being able to read Japanese, i am unsure what fuse it is and whether it is under the bonnet or in the drivers kick panel.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's 2 fuses used for SRS (Airbag).

Both are located in the fuse box inside the car (not under the bonnet) and are 10 amp (red).

According to the wiring manual, they are fuses 4 and 8:

But i gotta ask, when you were "playing around with something" you didn't happen to unplug the airbag module in the steering wheel, did you?

No, we swapped the taillights out of my car for his. funnily enough, my blinkers were suddenly my reverse lights, and his brake lights didnt work! dont know where the srs light came into the equation though.
Sorry dan, i thought it was pretty funny

Haha...i did a great job didn't i ??

Well, this morning i had no indicators, no stereo and the SRS light still on the dash so i called NRMA and it's all fixed now, just a few fuses not wanting to play.

How i did that from just changing the taillights defies me.

But, i'm good at what i do, never do anything in halves !!!

Lol, love your work

Your SRS shares a fuse with other stuff, that's why they all went down...
