2 issues, wheel wobble & tail-light globe

Post by oodLes »

I just had my GPX serviced and he rotated the wheels, its now got awful wheel wobble and was just confirming that all it needs is a balance / alignment. It had wheel wobble before (after an alignment & balance no less) so I'm open to other ideas as to what it might be.

Other thing as described is my passenger tail-lights brake globe has gone, how do I go about replacing this, I've never messed around in the boot before and can't find a guide on it anywhere, looks like it should be very straightforward but if someones done it before it would be a big help for any info.

Thanks all. :)

pull the plastic ontop of the boot lock first...pull the carpet off... ull see these black dots on the carpet... thats what holds it in...

and then you'll see 4 bolts holding the tailights in... undo em slide the tail lights out...

i dunno if thats the easiest way though...

also wheel wobble could be due to an damaged rim...
or bad spacers....

You shouldn't need to pull the carpet up in the boot to get the rear lights out. Directly behind the rear lights in the boot are little flaps in the carpet that you unclip, exposing the 4 bolts for each light. Push the cluster out, might be a bit stiff if never moved before. Quick and easy job to change out a bulb.
If you can't dazzle them with dexterity, baffle them with bull...
