Melted Lightbulb Connecter Thing
i don't know what its called exactly but the little plug lookin thing the blub goes into has melted for some reason.
atm ive got 2 80W HB4s, too high or no problemo? have orderd 70W as cant get 80W anywhere
one parts place say that fitting goes for $10 and anotha say they go for $200.....whats the go there????????????

could that also effect my bulbs burning out quickly. cause my bulbs seriously only last like 6-8 months. Im thinking of upgrading to hid kit should this stop the problem (eg does a hid kit contain new wiring?

stock fto headlight globes are HB4 at 12v 55w
HID are only 35w and is way brighter
i say jus get an HID kit.
with the melted rubber ring jus get the cheapest one. i rkn the place who quoted u 200 bucks is jus try`n to make some money off ya.
im sure all rubber rings do the job.
also try find the fault on how come it melted. it can b heaps of stuff.

I had that issue, did you put electrical grease before you put the bulb?.. most likely thats why they fried..
To get a mitsu part they will quote 75 per bulb holder, i ordered for an online shop for 5 buck each and they worked great until i changed them to HID.
