Courier mail wrote:A PERTH teenager's car has been seized under hoon legislation just minutes after he got his driver's licence.

Police allege the 19-year-old man from north suburban Dianella did a series of burnouts around the Midland Licensing Centre on Wednesday before undergoing his driving test.

By the time he had finished the test, and passed, police had arrived.

Haha, what a dick... deserves it..

Bit sad though, you can be done in by the "anti-hoon" legislation if you spin your wheels *at all* when taking off...

Yeah most cars don't spin if you're not giving it stick though :P

Altho in the wet the triton used to be insanity from the lights... bit of oil on the road... mass sideways action. Kinda scary in 3 lanes of traffic trying to take off slowly... haha WTB: traction.

Most of the loons that get smacked with the impounding deserve it.

My tip FTO sometimes spins the wheels when I take off at the lights... theres a fine line between taking off quick & spinning the wheels - obviously not burnout standard wheel spin - except in the rain :P
