Duel Exhaust on FTO

Post by RalliartBoy »

After taking a close look at the back of my FTO, i have decided that a Duel Exhaust set-up could be the way to go, duel as in one on each side and not two together on the same side.

Has anybody done this to an FTO before and would there be any other benefits other than the look ?

Any pictures of FTO's with a duel exhaust set-up would be good.

Thanks.

A fair few out there with that setup. Not much really in gains on performance...though you do get a straighter route with the exhaust on the left hand side. Quick search of these forums and ftooc should give you plenty of photos :D

Yep, covered heaps of times. Do a search using the wording 'dual and exhausts' & see what gets listed.

Sam, How did you get the extra hole cut for your rear bar (and does it match the other side). Would love to put duals on myself, but the thought of hacking at the rear bar has always made me pause.

    Looks hot Sam.

Love what you have done with the taillights too, did you do them yourself or are there some available off the shelf ?

And yes, what did you do with the rear bar for the second exhaust to fit ?

hahaha.. yeh... with the amount of fines i've had for them its getting to be cheaper to get some project Fs....

And i just took it to a body shop... $25 and 15 minutes... the took a quick template of one side... mirrored it, then drew it onto the bar... then cut it with a special saw... easy as... a lot less paintfull then you'd think...

Only problem is you have to have VERY short cannons as theres not much room under there... my new cannons have to be angled out unfortunately to fit...
