hey guys,
Hi-tech Engine Services in Preston will be performing a 3 angle valve cut and valve seat lapping for approx $250. Anyone wanting this done needs to have there heads off by the latest next Thrusday so we can save some cash as a group thingy.
Cheers
p.s. yes there are noticible gains in doing this, followed by porting which will increase Hp by atleast 10-15 (educated guess)
head work

From what I understand, there is no standard calibration for dyno's, therefore if you took the same car to 3 different dyno's, you'd get 3 different results.
It's important when doing modification to always take it back to the same place, with ideally the same conditions, only then will you truly be able to tell if they modifications have made a difference.
If you are going to do a number of modifications and want to see what they yield, it is best to do a dyno test before you begin to set the benchmark, then as you go along you have something to compare it to.
