LED Tail Lights?

Post by izonme »

Was looking at geting LED light to replace the bulb lights.

How good are they?

Are they brighter?

I found out on eBAY you can get a 24LED light or a 36LED light.

Is someone using this?

All the best. :P :P

Just ordered some of the tower 45LED's off ebay - will let you know what they are like.

As for the fast flashing - Just use the guide in the DIY section and take out the resistor.
If you can't dazzle them with dexterity, baffle them with bull...

Well, just replaced all my back bulbs and front indcators with the 45-LED tower bulbs. http://stores.ebay.com/US-Home-Direct

Indicators - Great. Fill the whole lens, nice deep amber. Especially on the fronts where i've taken out my orange lens. Will be good when i tent my rear lights.

Reverse Lights - Nice and bright, even during day. Not quite as bright as originals, but a pure white rather than a sickly yellow.

Brake lights - not impressed. Good during night time, look very nice, but during the day, the originals are SO much better. Went back to the filiment for the brakes!
