I had the same problem with mine, I found a perspex polishing guy that was able to polish it out only cost $50. I suggest that you contact perspex companies in your area to find out who does it, can give the address of the guy in Sydney to who ever wants it

demonjay, yes that can be done it is a time consuming job if you can get a micromesh kit, it is a matter of using a stage of fine "sandpaper" starting with a coarse grade finishing with an ultra fine, but you have to know what you are doing, we use this type of system on aircaft windows but we leave it up to the professionals. I had my headlight done by ASP 2/6 Tennyson street Granville NSW Ph 02 96376455. As I mentioned before check with any plastics fabricators in you area I am sure that the can help you or let you know who to see. Any more help just let me know.

umm... i wouldn't want to use wet n dry on perspex you just won't get it clear enough unless you are a professional. you could try a rubbing compound and high speed buffing but again you'd have to be very careful that you don't over heat it.

best to get it done professionally as a replacement (used) headlight will set you back around 400-450

I happened to mention this problem to a guy in a bodyshop over here in the UK and he took his 'sander' to it - used the finest grade wet & dry he had and basically rubbed away the peeling lacquer, then polished it up afterwards - 5 minute job, lights look like new!
Hope that helps.

Are you in sydney ? I have some perspex polish if you need to finish it of, I used it on mine, just adds that final touch.

depends on the final finish that they achieved, but it is a finish we use on aircraft windows after the cut back process.
