Hey guys,
Can someone please confirm for me the SuperPoly Flex part numbers for the front and rear Front Control Arm bushes for a 1997 Facelift GPX?
Looking at the Camskill website they show different parts for pre and facelift GPXs. The part numbers I got from Camskill are:
SPF1714K Rear Bush
SPF2026K Front Bush
They don't match anything I have seen. Bennoz has posted these part numbers:
SPF1500 Rear
SPF1160 Front
Are the facelift bushes (any of them?) dfferent from the pre-facelift bushes?

Front Arm Bushes for Facelift GPX

Here are the 2 different types of arms & the comparisons:

- The arm on the left is a GPvR arm (from 94 onwards.) From 97 onwards ALL FTO's were then given this arm as well (ie all facelifted models.)
- The arm on the right is all FTO's pre 97 (except GPvR)

Note: ALL the front bushes on the front arm are the same amongst ALL models, its only the rear bushes on the front arm that differ.
This is the front bush, common to all models - Part number SPF1160

This is the rear bush for the facelifted & GPvR arm - part number SPF1714K

Another option for the facelifted arm is the Anti-Lift version of the above bush - Part number SPF2026K

The anti-lift version will give you more negative camber & positive castor. This particular variety is adjustable depending on how they are seated into the housing. With the bush spun so that the hole is closest to the ground, it will give maximum positive castor, with the hole turned towards the outside of the car, it will give maximum negative camber - spinning it somewhere in between will give you a mixture of positive castor & negative camber.

This is the bush is the eqivalent of the above bushes but for the other type of arm (ie pre 97 FTO's & all non GPvRs of that period) This is Superflex part SPF1500.

Again, there are 2 anti lift versions of this type of bush as well. SPF1502AK is the part number for increased negative camber (2 degrees)

Here is the other version of the anti-lift variety. SPK1502XK is the part number (2 degree negative camber, 2 degrees positive castor) Its the bush on the right btw

Oh and one more thing - if you decide to go with an anti-lift variety, just make sure you have adjustable strut tops... as the degree figures offered by these bushes is by no means exact. You need to have finite adjustment over them with an adjustable strut top (or pillow mount as they are often called.)

A few more quick questions:
1. I was going to get Tein pillow mounts anyway. Does this mean I NEED the anti-lift bushes, or would you recommend it over the standard?
2. Also getting droplinks, and have found out the car is lowered by 15mm all round. Would the lowered rear droplinks still fit or would they be too short.

Having pillow mounts doenst mean you have to have the anti lift bushes. But having the anti lift bush means you really should have pillow mounts.... if you get what I mean - its the other way round.
The anti lift bushes certainly do give the car a much more sporting cornering ability - but with all geometry changes there are pros and cons.
The main con from anti lift bushes is that they will make the steering much more sensitive. You'll feel every rut & bump in the road through the wheel much more so than normal. Negative camber can also lead to worn inner tyre edges in time. Yet your turn in & cornering ability will be much improved.
As far as droplinks go - 15mm is a strange amount to have it lowered

Im thinking 15mm all round you should be ok with standard units. They will probably be stressed (and stress your swaybar bushes) a little more than usually but it should be fine.
