-- Standard 60mm gives = 2827mm^2 of surface area.
-- Bored out to 63mm gives = 3118.2mm^2 of surface area.

It doesn't look like much but the gains are there. Without an adjustable computer your gains will be approx 4-6hp. with computer approx 6-8hp.

yes, a new brass butterfly will be fitted to the original shaft, and the diameter of the shaft itself will be sanded down.

Everything else is original w.r.t. the T.B.

As for the intake plenum, this too will need minor grinding to increase it to 63mm.

The 63mm boring of Throttle bodies is now good to go.

Anyone wanting this done can choose from the list of prices etc.

1. Original Throttle Body bored to 63mm, grin.ded shaft, new brass buterfly, sand blasted, flow tested, gasket.. Approx gain 6-10HP at fly (standard)

Price: $150

2. As per #1 and also including the intake manifold being bored to 63mm to match port the TB. Approx HP gain: 10-12HP at fly (standard)

Price: $200

Would you need some sort of aftermarket computer to prevent Flat Spots?

Sorry it’s just that I don’t know much about this kinda thing.

Where about in Melbourne are you?

Cheers

You don't need a computer for this mod. The ecu can update the fuel supply for the increase in air.

having a computer siply means you can increase the fuel in more depth and get that extra poofteenth of a kw out.

I'm in Bulleen, about 5 mins from shoppingtown doncaster. I've had mine done already so you can come down and have a look at the quality etc.

I'm also performing this on a 200s and r34 gts-t, so i'll post up the results of all of em so you guys know what your buying!

If only my digicam was working :(
