Just fitted some white dials and dash rings and a polished stainless dash bezel, also have some kick plates to install,

I purchased them from KMC products in Glascow Scotland, so anyone else thinking of buying them they arrived safely and in excellant condition.

very easy to install and has simple instalation instructions supplied with them.

The speedo has three dials too choose from one in Kms only and another in miles and a combination miles/ Kms as well

will take some pictures during the weekend and post them with the other pics.

G1: 17x7 is usually fitted with 205/45 or 215/40 tyres. I opted for 8" wide rims so that there is more rubber contact area (hence more grip). I currently have 225/45 on mine, so there is a good compromise between grip and ride quality (due to the higher profile). My mate's bro lives in Japan and told me that the P1 Series-II are actually slightly heavier because they are 2-piece rims, not forged single piece like the ones I've got. So really although i would've loved the looks of the Series-II, i opted for lightweight performance (to compensate for larger rim diameter), plus i could never afford it anyway!

and just thought i'd let you all know - i have been told by 5 different ppl (1 from TMU, 2 from the bodykit industry) that fibreglass/carbonfibre bonnets are ILLEGAL and the cops WILL dick you for it... Point of the argument is that suring a collision, they will be smashed to bits and pieces and because they are shattered objects, they have sharp ends and will be a safety hazard to the driver, passengers and surrounding public.

one other suggestion - how about we stick to the original topic and perhaps create a new thread, rather than having bonnet/wheels/hate mail all under one thread??

Can anyone please help me.

I need a set of engine and gearbox mounts, it will be ok if the rubber is badly worn or broken just need the alloy outer so i can get some stronger engine mounts made as my motor has a little bit to much torque.

lol... you've wrecked your gearbox already??

you should be able to get the engine mounts from a front cut... i remember a thread in here somewhere about a front cut arriving soon, so maybe you might have some luck there...

just want one so i can build a stronger one while i am still driving it then swap it in

i have to be carefull can feel that it wont last long if i drive it hard

That's funny . . . I thought most aftermarket kits are made from firbeglass =P

Something smells fishy . . . only people I'd trust would be an engineer =P They'd know the ADR's and road laws back to front =P

the crumple zone is at the bonnet, which is why the factory bonnet has braces all over it underneath the skin which has been specifically designed to crumble in a way during a collision in order to minimise injury to the occupants of the car as much as possible.

Replacing them with a fibreglass bonnet will affectively remove the safety element of the crumple zone, hence why it's regarded by the authorities as a safety hazard... which kinda makes sense in a way.

well just took a pic of the white dials and one of the car in the drive way.

Just given it i nice wash and polish and is looking great, will have to go for a drive and find some where nice to take a couple of pics.

I will take some photos of the white dials at night for anyone who is thinking of buying some from KMC they look great but possibly not as good as the indigo style, but much cheaper at 50 pounds and was very easy to install

When will it be fully tuned? And how much did u pay for the front bar?

I swapped my old one with Mikey (O2NV) for the updated one.

Got a couple of things to sort out then back on the dyno to see if we can get the boost controller to work

hopefully by the end of next week

How much do those front bars cost anyway?

you can get the front bar with no lights or brackets for 600 AUD and the indicators for 145 AUD from http://www.justjap.com/Welcome_Page.htm

And you can use small spot lights for the driving lights, Cibie have small Spot Lights that fit the Facelift Bumper.

The brackets you would have to get from mitsubishi or modify your originals to fit.

hey looks like you managed to find yourself some D'Cuatro sideskirts as well... where did you get them from and how much?

imported them from Japan and they cost 1400 all up.

Was going to get some copies done but wanted them on for the photo shoot.

they look great even though they are a bit expensive

i think they cost $340...
