I have been thinking that I will drop my car off at DMD the week before the DIY and pick it up on the way through to you guys on the weekend so hopefully that will save me a trip
Sounds like a plan

August sounds good to me. For camping you'd want to be rugged up that time of year though. It might be a little milder but think sub 6 degrees at night and if theres a wind the wind chill factor can bring it down to 0. I'm saying I've got plenty of floor space

and an oven people can use (I don't live far from Pete) for headlights. I'll bring over my jack and stands and some tools as well. I'm standing by what I said on the weekend as well. I'll organise some food for the night if people decide to come up and stay the night.
My list:
Tune TPS
adjust idle?!
fix leak (fogging up) in drivers side headlight.
try and source the bearing noise - hopefully just swap out the air-con compressor.

oh and sophia you realise the road you went home on the other day goes the other way up to toowoomba, it would be close to 100km shorter than going through Brisbane. But I'd love to see your car after DMD do some work on it too so that sounds like a great idea

haha just my luck, long way around everything and getting lost
If I can get onto pete I will hopefully be down the weekend before the DIY to drop the car off at DMD and cruise to Toowoomba with Jason who offered to help and go to WOWs to get my stereo, then coming back the following weekend when the bars are done and head out to the DIY

Just make sure dmd fit into this plan sophia, like any panel shop, they are not known for the ability to keep to time frames.

August is also sounding fine for me. Is the agreed upon date the 14th? I'm fine to accommodate as many people as I can in the house if they're willing to stay overnight. My house mate is a manager at the Pizza Hut just up the road, so food shouldn't be an issue.

You're still welcome to come around, drink, and shout 'you're doing it wrong!' from the corner of the shed, Matt.

If this is the date then i will write it up at work. I'll allow another 2 weeks to see if this is defiantly the date

And are we planning for a 2day jobbie (weekender) because.... tbh theres a lot of sh*t to be done, and we will be standing around for half of it so........ I think we need it... so put next to your name what you are up for.
