Yeah i had few things done at the same time as well, so i can't really tell you how much it might cost.

But $300 sounds about right, as its a real bit*h to fit.

If its any consolation we swore at the ftos we fitted the extractors to as well.

In fact, if you DON"T swear at an FTo when fitting these you are either way too cool or I wan't some of the drugs you are on.

Time frame - its a 2 1/2 to 3 hour job at any time. We found pulling one of the thermo fans off made a big help in getting hte hands up there.

Hahaha, yeah that figure is exactly what I paid too.

$300 bucks and just under 3 hours.
They had to extend it just a little to make it reach the cat though.

Oh well, I'm loving them! :D

When i fitted them to my FTO, (really missing that car :( ) i removed the thermo fan and top radiator mounts as it gives heaps of room if you gently push it forwards a little.

430!!! thats HEAPS!!!! I got mine fitted, and extended a little, with a new gasket ( cos the ones on my car weren't the original reuseable ones, no idea why the previous owners had the manifolds off!! ) for $ 170 from a local exhaust shop in morebank!!!! and the car goes like the clappers!!!! I was having a race against a mates bombadore and it pulled 3rds in the dry, on 18's with LSD so the power increase is significant!! just gonna get my unichip re-mapped and maybe FPR fitted and it will be a BEAST!!!!

Yeah I've noticed that with these fitted V6 Commodores don't really put up a fight anymore.

V8's on the other hand....

Barfy, is your car auto?

I can beat stock R33 turbo's in mine, and MIVEC doesn't work properly

It's in a lancer though

Are you serious?? You must be racing slow ass ppl. Even a stock GTST, 140kw atw should kill an FTO. Trust me

It's a Lancer with the V6

But no stock R33's are easy

I raced a friend with a R33, 10psi boost, FMIC, cat back exhaust and it took a while for him to overtake. This was a rolling start though.

My car is also just a bit slower than an R32 running 15 pounds of boost (rolling on 19s none the less)

I dunno Phil, I'll have to see this to beleive it :P

Got your car back on the road yet?

I always get confused when people say they can beat r33's easily...

FTO GPX 2.0lt DOHC 24V MIVEC V6 FWD 1190kg 150kW 200Nm 7.6 (0-100) 15.49 (1/4 mile)

VS
R33 GTST 2498cc twin-cam 24-valve turbo EFI straight six RWD 1370kg 184kW 294Nm 6.21 (0-100) 14.4

They have considerably more power atw, are heavier but still... if your then talking about them running 10psi, zorst etc....

Its like saying an fto will beat a rex....
