Mivec is disabled. When you pass 5500rpm nothing happens.

I get something similar. Even when the water temp has reached ideal temperature if I hit MIVEC without at least having driven the car for 15-20 mins I seem to lose a cylinder or two. But after driving for another 5-10 mins after that the car goes back to normal. Haven't been able to diagnose coz the problem goes away promptly. Not sure about the clunking sound you get though.
Moral of the story for my car: Don't hit mivec until at least 15 mins of normal driving

Hey guys, just an update.
got 3 new ignition coil, and the idle issue is still present.
I check all vac hose and electrical plugs and all are good.
could it be since hitting mivec, the timing belt somehow skipped a tooth?
could this cause the rough idling?
