Its a very simple job - just take off the rocker and peel out the old gasket. Make sure you get all of it. I personally have a set of cylinder head scrapers i use to get every last bit off (might be a worthwhile investment - theyre only about $20) - you want to make sure that its a nice clean even surface for the next gasket. Then just whack the next one in, make sure its in correctly and seal it up. You dont need to use gasket sealant on it at all.

got abit of progress done today
going check and cleanup all the areas/plugs on the gear box tomoro, hopefully fine the main cause for all this oil!

8O All that sludge in your rocker cover...What does the upper engine look like?

it wasnt really sludge it was very flakey and hard to get off, like burnt oil or something?
top of the engine seemed ok :/ ?
