Manual hey...still not too bad imho however like mentioned, dyno's are all different and different conditions will give different results.
107 at UAS still ain't too bad imho.
When i first bought my fto (manual 97 gpx) and had it dyno'd, it gave me 89fwkw's rofl. Was very disappointed as from reading and what not i had expected close if not just over 100.
Cleaned the car up via service, plugs, lead, did uas intake pipe/hks pod/heatshield, only high flow cat, axle back exhaust (so still stock piping mostly) and that netted me 115fwkw on a low reading dyno. And yeah safc won't do much...i installed and it tuned and got absolutely 0 gain (literally).
You will find some power from tuning via ignition timing adjustment not so much the air fuel ratios. Interesting how they said to install an Apexi Supra FC...i wonder how he would get it all to work as the Apexi Power FC computers are plug in and play utilising the factory loom and sensors for that particular model (e.g. supra power fc is for supra only). It probably won't be much cheaper either...second hand PFC + the hand controller unit will set you back $1500 or so.

I have heard auto transmission fluid being used in older manual transmissions to reduce crunching caused by worn synchros. They might have put a bit in yours if it was making a bit of noise?

Wow...never heard of that one before, interesting.
I combat the problem with Castrol VMX-80 g/box fluid and if the box is really bad, then with some nulon g-70 additive ontop of the vmx80.

Yep, in fact I've found people using it and recommending it on the rolla forums for the 4age gearbox as they like to start crunching due to their age and years of abuse. Mine started crunching recently so I'm thinking of giving it a go. I considered swapping out the gearbox but it's pretty pointless I hear coz its a common design flaw and most other gearboxes will follow suit. Best remedy would be to pull the gearbox out and get the synchros rebuilt but that would be pretty costly so I'm gonna give this a go. Lots of people who have used it reported the crunching went away.

LOL by the way, I actually had 2 runs for the price of one, i forgot to mention...
What happened was, the guy did the first run but forgot to turn off the aircon and that got me 89.xxKW !!
Can you believe that ?! We are talking 18KW - stolen!

Are you serious? The aircon knocks out a good 18kw??
Wow..

^ Around that yeah... even the moment you turn on/off the aircon, you feel a jerk or something that feels like a power difference...
And I will post a dyno video soon if all goes well... The original video was 300+MB and took ages too upload and failed anyway.. Im splitting it to the 2nd run which is about under 2mins... Stay tuned.

Holy hell...i pay 50 for 3 runs lol..
Not surprised the air con steals 18kw... i drive a daily corolla and sometimes when i'm going up steep hills and want more pep, i'll temporarily disable a/c for a good kick of torque.

lol, now you come to the cross road that I came to many years ago. Wasting thousands of dollars on N/A motors gives you nothing.
Get a hairdryer into ya!

^ I'll stick to NA Ben, its a GPX anyway, and I'll stick with less fuel usage

yes we all say that at first then the power bug starts to get to us. Next thing you know you are looking for a engine to swap with yours that will give more power

Gahh.. I'll just do my best with what i got

Hone my driver skills first before i deserve the extra power

...
The problem is, if someone does something like that to their GPX and makes it looks easy, that might tempt me.. Specially when im full licence now...

When I was at TAFE we put my Barina on the dyno for something to do.....
It got an entire 20 kw!!
Was pretty rad.....
I wouldn't be complaining at all if I were you.
I greatly appreciate ANY kind of power after that car.....

sh*t man $1700 at UAS wtf? I didn't expect that.. firstly I would've expected somebody who had a lot of experience working with FTOs working on your car since that's one place that's dealt with it more than anybody else.
Bl with the newbie mechanic.. didn't realise it would turn out that expensive and take them so long.
