as for setting the date, it's mostly up to pete. so... Pete how does the weekend of the 14th August sound?
And we also have to figure out if we are just doing the one day or are we going to have a sleep over.

I did mine with yang, i thought the hardest part was getting the front bar off/on so if someone can do that, then we are all sweet.
exactly, notice how i tried to avoid mentioning anything about the front bars in any of my posts? lol
Look, if enough ppl want to do their angel eyes, we might set up a little production line like they did in NSW(?).

It's putting them back on you charge for, right?
Weekend of the 14th is best for me... I am in the middle of a production lead up for JCS and have a full run on the 14th from 10 til 2pm and could head out after that point. 14th's also my birthday, so booze will be in tow... be warned.

Dont worry sophia, they are just plastic pieces inside your wheel arch but just leave them there we where only joking cause most of us have removed them due to be too bloody lazy to put them back in.

haha okie doke one less thing to think about
So I have sorted a budget for my never ending list of stuff I need/want done, its around $2000-$2500 max. Is it do-able? Thats including some nice simple new wheels aswell...
I figured that this is the rough costing (tell me if im delusional)
both bars done for $600
Stereo - $400
Wheels $1000-$1500

Wheels, yes.
Stereo, yes.
Both bars, yes for being made but no for being painted.

Can wheels be reconditioned easily? - broad question yes... as in the edges where they have been scraped on gutters to all buggery... Can that be fixed without taking it to a prof?

Front bar I just want to get modified and painted and I already have the rear bar only needs paint.
Wheels I have a thread up called "new wheels" I think its in gibberish or WTB.
Nothing wrong with my wheels at all, I just want bigger black ones

Well if your keeping the front bar, to get it modified, repaired of all the cracks and painted your probably looking at around $400+ I *THINK* ...
If you already have your rear bar it shouldn't be to much to get painted, probably around $300 aswell (This is a guess)..
Wheels, well they cost as much as they do. Can Vary with what brand, weight, size etc etc...
They where just some guesses in prices so you know kindof what your up for...

Stereo? It depends on what you really want, can vary oh so much...
TBH I don't think you really need a sub in an FTO Because of the small cabin, but yeah if its what you want... then .. yeah

I have jumped into an old thread to ask about my ongoing list of issues instead of flooding this

I have been thinking that I will drop my car off at DMD the week before the DIY and pick it up on the way through to you guys on the weekend so hopefully that will save me a trip
