Q. so the lower you go (eg. 5000k - 4000k) the more yellow the light yes?
lets say i want the brightness of HIDS but i want the colour of the light as close to the stock lights.
can this be done without sacrificing road vision? or are HIDS meant to be white for that reason?
basically higher it is the brighter the light will be
as for being yellow that is only really on standard bulbs.
If your still using factory style bulbs try the 'arctic ice' ones make a big difference
cheers for the info

is it vipfto? i thought the difference in higher or lower is just the colours? what makes it brighter is the watts, theres 35w and 50w ones, so 50w ones ar brighter, higher or lower is just the colour, 4000k yellow 6000 white 8000 white blueish 100000 more to the blue 120000 purpleish?

also comes into it but you wont find any or use 35w you will use 55 or 60w etc for main lights, but yes you are right however you wouldnt want to use more than 8000k either as they burn to hot unles you have good HID setup
