Know of any direct swaps? say from an evo or something?

and the difference betweem 15/16" bore and 1" make that much difference?

Yeah, makes a big difference, pedal becomes more effective for less effort involved in pushing - and good knows, you're gonna need it when try to fill the 6 pots on those big bastard calipers.

From memory the 1 inchers come off a Triton or Pajero. I'll have a scratch thru CAPS & see which one it is. Might even be common to the Magna as well..

I would never use second hand brake components - especially hydraulics.

If you've got some brake line spanners & are confident in bleeding the whole system, then go for it. Its not too difficult a job.

The bloke is now offering me a set of Brembo 330mm 4 pistons for the rear now...

Pretty cheap...
