Repainting definately sounds better! that way i won't be spending 3-4 grand on it, if i get door cards, roof lining and sun shades, with the leatherette seats, any idea on how much that would cost (as the cheaper option, just getting a rough idea on how much cheaper it would be)
leatherette seats max will need to confirm for u. to get the door cards, sun shades and roof lining would cost u tops of 500$ excluding material, ie to get a pro to do it . u can buy the leatherette material from max when u order the seat covers.
shue,check my new blue
looking mad dude, show us more pics. looks like u've got your new rear bar fitted up too :) how much did the paint job set u back?

Nice nice, now Its all coming together, I dunno what I'd do if I never found thos forum.. everybody's always willing to help and that's really cool 8)

by the way, by door cards, do u mean the panels? I'm not too sure on what exactly it is you're referring to sorry, same as the sun shades.
I would have to get the leatherette material for the roof etc, and it would be extremely handy that i'll be able to order them with the leatherette seats

Once again.. thanks a lot guys, instead of calling me an idiot for not knowing this stuff which is probably basic to you, you guys are taking the time and effort to help me out with whatever I'm asking, so thanks again :D

door cards i mean the panels inside the door. sun shades are the thingo's u pull down to block the sun off the top of the roof lining (sorry couldnt think of any other way to describe it) .

Ah.. Gotcha!!

Ok, thanks to you guys, here is my understanding of it all, and please correct me if I'm wrong anywhere here:

Leatherette seats
Leatherette material for roof lining, sun shades and door panels needs to be ordered.
Areas that need to be painted should be done by a pro (since I'm a noob) since the rubber bits are hard to paint and I'll get a better result if somebody who knows how to do it, does it.
Dash - Can it be painted? and if not, then covering it with leather will cost a shytload.. so this is something I still have to decide on.

Thanks guys, as soon as I recover from the blow to my wallet for Rego fees, I'll start on this (about a month and a half - 2 months) and then I'll keep updating on what's happening..! Can't say this enough.. thanks!

Had another question, hoping somebody can gimme some advice.

The centre console has to be painted im assuming as I don't see exactly it can be covered in leatherette, so should I just buy the Red CF surround that's got a EOI happening at the moment, and paint the rest on it red, or just not bother with the red cf but just paint the whole thing the same colour? :?

GPXBOY you dont need to quote a whole post with pics and all just to reply with one sentence....

Maybe just try writing the name of the person you are addressing at the start of you comment.

Just some helpful advice to keep the forums neat =D
