yeah i accidently deep fried that almost a year to the day! (i work in a kitchen) it still played but it had an aweful drowning sound... took me ages to justify buying the cd which only had 11 songs on it when most have about 16 17 18

OH good god! This thread has literally got me tingling in all my special places In Townsville NOBODY has heard of NiIghtwish (All hail Queen Tarja) let alone ENJOY their music... Unfortunately I couldn't get the time off work to see them But it is so refreshing to finally find out that there are more people who are into the Progressive Metal scene...
By the way... Loved the demos... You've got yourself a fan here!
European metal is THE BEST! All we get here is mainstream shite peddled to us by the media, you know... Stuff like Fear Factory (sorry Bennoz) Slipknot (a crime against music they are) etc etc!
I've been following bands like Nightwish, Edguy, Symphony X, Opeth, Ayreon, Arch Enemy, Evergrey, Lacuna Coil etc etc blah bla for years! Ugh okay... So maybe I'm a little overexcited about finding prog metal fans... Hell, we're a minority group...

she actually was a bitch from what people who met her have told me. a metal promoter i know actually interviewed the band when they were here, he interviewed the four guys and tarja was no where to be seen, only later did he hear her screaming how this was taking to long and stuff.

everyone is paniced but im not worried, tomous is the actual brains behind the band anyway, so the music will remain the same, getting a new vocalist shouldnt be too hard since they are pretty well known now. maybe the new vocalist might actually take part in the band, instead of turning up to the studio and thats it... not one rehersal for nine years, sheesh...

wow... ah well, as you say Tuomas is the cluey one. Hope the next singer is a hotty too..

ok latest news on nightwish is that the chick from LEAVES EYES is most likely going to be the new singer...

I heard the band and her voice the first time on the web site, she sounds very good, and she looks pretty damn hot too, so no problem there heheh.
