It must have come down in price like the other one did. It used to be $500.
Still, f**ken expensive. Especially when I've got a drawer full of 2nd hand syncros at home that are perfectly useable as replacements.

Does the FTO box have some "special" synchros compared to the other boxes of the lower revving motors?

Nope. In fact the bulk of the cluster is almost identical to just about identical to every other Mitsi of that vintage.

I heard before about 2nd gear having twin synchros in the MIVEC gearboxes compared to other ones which have only single synchros. Any truth to this if you know?

There's only 1 syncro on second mate.
