Had you pulled the heads off or at least removed the plugs? If not, you're fighting 10:1 compression...

no, the heads were completely off, the only difference was it was still bolted to the chassis instead of out of the car.
zero movement in or out, and i know the car was waterlocked so w/ever its going to the scrap yard now, not my problem ive given up

210NM is not enough to remove the bolt.

you think ours are bad, my previous racecar was a MkIII Supra, these are torqued on at over 200ft-lb, and f**king loctite'd as well just to piss you off. I spent almost an entire day trying to get one undone on a 1JZ a few years ago.

Try getting some heat into it. And or heat cycling it a few times.

you just gotta have persistence and keep hitting it with the impact wrench over and over until it cracks.

Depends on who did it up last. When I do mine up, I set my torque wrench to 'f**k you' tight because I dont actually use a torque wrench on it. I use a big f**k off breaker bar.

Plus its gonna take more than 150ft-lb to crack the loctite as well.

That, and if it's 150ft-lbs, then you're looking at around 205Nm to break AS WELL AS the loctite. Put simply, payayayayayaya is right. The 210Nm rattle gun won't break it (and if it does, I'd be surprised). A length of pipe (similar to that of bennoz's e-penis) should make for a good breaker bar. Failing that, find a bigger hammer
