see my car as it is (completely stock) i get 500km out of a tank... n thats on 95. so im still thinknig the cheaper 95 is ok for me
although im looking into getting a cat back atm... total noob i no but how much would that effect my fuel econ?

Probably not by much since the weakest link in the exhaust is either the cat or the downpipes, which means the the air/fuel ratio will not change significantly therefore, fuel usage will not change, or very little if any.
Though I have also heard that it can make the car run rich, but I don't believe! Because of my theory above... By the way, a 'good' catback would cost you around 600~900 if thats what you'll ask at some point.

That won't change it BUT! due to it sounding more sporty you will drive it harder so there for you will use more fuel

I like that analogy!
That's especially true when I quiet down the varex - I itch to open it up again and drive spiritedly

Peace of mind, to be honest. I use 98 to avoid knocking, as I do drive hard every now and then.
I can still get 500 ish kms per tank, with about 50-100kms of spirited driving thrown in there and I normally fill right up and only put 40-45L in the tank.

Well I am running a high tune and good power and can still do 600+K's per tank, so there is no fishing around these parts

If I run the car untill almost dry I can get aprox 720k's. Not that I ever do run it that low.
