I think sophias rear bar is a bit too far gone sorry to say, after mine incident with my rear bar i know a little and just it has too much bog which will need to be taken out again at the edges and it has rippled, also there is bog around the taillights and the metal work on the quarter panels.

Probably best to get another rear bar and have it professionally sprayed and the panels smoothed back, itll give a better result and youll be a lot happier, its just the $$$.

But anyways, the things that i need to do are.

SilverGPX

1. Give my stepper motor a clean
2. Take my intake manifold off (to see if the leak is the rocker cover gasket, bit scared to do myself)
3. Put my rear swaybar chassis bushes in
4. Drill some patterned holes into my stock airbox as it has a podfilter in it (if anyone has a holesaw that is)
5. Sand back and paint my wiper blades black
6. Re-paint the ribbed plastic panel that is under the windscreen black
7. Install the new fuel filter

Ok nice list people, everything looks do-able with the exception of the angel eyes.

I will not bake anyones lights, I dont mind doing all the wiring for them but I will not bake them lol. If we are doing angel eyes then the early we start the better as the sydney guys worked ALL DAY and most of the night when they did theirs.

I can bring all the tools to do those jobs however if people have jacks and/or axle stands BRING THEM ;)

Ok things I would like to get done:

Replace front indicators
Repair window guides
Fit some new speakers & possibly a head unit which has an ipod dock etc.
If I have them by that point, install the leather seats... Figure this will be less painful with many hands :P
Get clear side indicators installed (once again, if I have them)
Maybe install some new wipers, wouldn't mind gettin red ones... this may end up translating to "spray wipers red"
Everything else I need to have done is mechanic/auto elect worthy

I would get the shop to fit them as they can line them up and they might have to drill holes in new locations and its their loss if they dont get it right

Wow, this is looking good.

I see a lot of people keen to get some help with installation of their sound systems, which I'd be happy to help anyone with, providing they have the right gear on hand.

As for tools that I have, I have two complete socket sets with assorted spanners, electric tools like a drill and jigsaw, one set of axle stands and a bit of other random stuff. Since a lot will be going on at the same time, it would probably be best if some people brought up some extra jacks, axle stands and even spanners etc.

My oven isn't overly large, however it would most likely accommodate a set of headlights or two.

The garage I have here is a double, with full power and excellent lighting if things do run a bit late. There's even a fridge in there to stock any food or drinks people want to bring up.

As for when this should happen, that will depend on whether people want to do this over multiple days, or just tackle everything on a Sunday. To sign a full weekend off at both of my jobs, I would need a bit of notice.

Anyway, I'll go ahead and put forward some things that I might actually get motivated to do with people around;
- Swap out MAP sensor with another unit to test. (Simon? ;) )
- Swap out TPS to test.
- Attempt to hide HID boxes. (Defect bait)

I can do these things myself, so that's not a worry. As a favour to the guy hosting the event, anyone keen to install a set of angel eyes I plan to buy off Yanno into my FTO? :D

Sweet as, well Borep has done the baking before so he can instruct on how to do it properly and we can just bake them :P THEN simon can help us instal and wire :P Sounds like a plan.. It would be benificial for most of us if we did it over a weekend although im guessing most of us would want/need a place to camp out over night, hows your backyard look pete? haha :P

I'm more then happy to help do angel eyes but in no means take any responsability if something goes wrong

I did mine with yang, i thought the hardest part was getting the front bar off/on so if someone can do that, then we are all sweet.

+1 it's much easier to hide the HID boxes if you take out the wheel arch linings & take off the front bumper .. i mounted mine on the frame underneath the front quarter panels / bumper .. can't even see them when I try :P
