It was actually on the way up, right beside a power station. If it had been about another 10 metres on I would have been IN the power station.
As for the front bar I8AFRE, I was actually thinking HKS Kansai but it seems hard to find. Maybe Dstocks has better sources than me otherwise I was considering a lip of some kind. I think the rear bar will be written off too so Im confused about that one, I think the stocko looks better than 90% of the aftermarket stuff.

Agreed that is why i left mine standard when i got my kit. Have you contacted DMD re the kansai?? I can shoot him a email if you want on availability. Just had a look at HKS Kansai...... I LIKE. That looks hot.....

Well I liked the Kansai because its almost a stock bar with a couple of minor cosmetic changes. Problem is though I think "if Im getting a new bar, why not get something interesting?" so Im wondering what else to go. Veilside is a common choice I know, but you have to remember that in my town, theres (now) 3 FTO's including my own. The other two are silver so the colours will also be off. Whats common in Melb or Sydney is very uncommon down here with all the r33s and commodores.
I was even thinking of going Kaze but that thing is just ridiculous

Just got a quote, guy on the spot estimated 5-7k for the repairs. I have to get two quotes and I'll be getting the other one tomorrow.

T-t-t-triple post
Shes getting repaired! Insurance co will pay for complete repairs, and seeing as how they're painting about 80% of the car, Im going to chip in another $800 and its getting a full respray in its original colour. I saw that car for sale a little while ago resprayed in its original and it looks pretty mint.
I also emailed the guys at DMD but haven't gotten a response, they usually take a while or something?
