Must admit, last time I was on the track, I had the most fun on the hardest setting, but my tyres didn't

Depends which section you do it in

I'm not part of a club though, just so happens my group of friends and some extended friends have niceish cars and love driving. Doesn't help that half of us are nocturnal too :P

But yeah...i'm also looking for a touge or grip racing small friendly club.

I think you'll struggle to find touge style racing in this country. I've been a member of CAMS clubs that do motokhana's etc for a couple of years now and love it. Your best bet is probably Motorkhana's or if you want more high speed stuff that isn't track orientated try autocross racing (a lot of this is on dirt) or hillclimb clubs. Check out the Cams website for local clubs www.cams.com.au

I've got TEIN's and I must say... they're not that bad. The only time I really notice them is on the city end of Parramatta road, I wish they'd resurface it, it's bad even in my mum's little Ford Festiva.

Sensible profile tyre's (17" 45's) help though.

Just remember to choose wise spring rates.
What are good spring rates?

NO MAN! C'mon man! You gonna make yourself shorter via a compressed spine :P

Seriously though, that's a bit tough for road use...or is this for a track car only ? Also depends what damper you want to use with it. But for road use...way too tough.

it's just for road use, thanks :)

Well then...if you just want looks...get something comfy but decent like 4 front 2 rear. Something a bit better for handling maybe 6 or 5 front and 3 or 4 rear.

I think stock was 2.6 front and 1.6 rear wasn't it Bennoz ? So go from there.

^^ Yep, you could safely halve the 9 & 7 for street use.

Motorkhana is great, more fun in a rwd car though....Then for the speed do some sprint days....good clubs do them

Just join S.AU and you get it all including other club days, we do the WRX Club track days. no1 one cares at S.AU what car you own as long as your into having fun with your car...
