Hi Guys,

Car is basically standard, I Had RPW Extractors fitted with with new pipes all the way back, dyno results on my home page show an increase of about 30%, from 90 kpw to 116.14 kpw,

now i'll be adding a Unichip in the next few weeks, and changing the HKS Pod filter to a K&N, i'll post boyth set of results as i get them

94 FTO GPX - 4 Speed Tiptronic.

I had 6 runs at willowbank, best time i got was a 16.119 1/4, @ 141 kph running 98 RON

Yeah on shoot out mode (which lots of dyno place use these days) i get 125kwatw. Is your cat still standard, hi-flow, or straight through??

BTW what you planning on your car was what i originally done to mine(RPW extrator, Unichip.....), but for some reason Vic Unichip dealer are can't even get it up & running properly in my car, I've send so much email & diagram to APS (the maker of Unichip) & they now just don't want to know anything about FTO, the dealer they recommended had wasted their & my time trying to make it work.

Since then i just run a SAFC, & 125kwatw is not that bad, even though i know the "real" figure is around 100kwatw eheheheh

So if you get it up & running you should able to get 125kwatw or more on shoot out mode.

hey guys just updating the status of my dyno run
fto went on the rollers today and had the microtech adjusted.
first run on 8.5psi it made 160KW@wheels
after some tunning it made 191KW@wheels on 8.5 psi
but after some thought and the car being daily driven we didnt push the limits and ran the car at a happy 180KW@wheels on 8.5 psi, this was still running a little rich and was not going to ping or self-destruct.
With a fuel upgrade and more boost nearing 300hp(222kw)@wheels will be acheivable.

126kw is a very good number Boris.
My car is getting service this week, and I would love to have a dyno result,
Any reccommendation from VIC members to who should I go to or how much would it cost.
I also would like to do a Air/Fuel ratio test as well.

depends, tuning costs depend on the workshop (calculated hourly) but if it's just a power run it's usually from $50 - $80...

Thanks guys.

I was a bit sceptical about how high I got. But then we ran other fto's on the same dyno, and got pretty acurate figures when say they are compared to other results eg Dyno Day 2004. etc.
