Danny, you should have a straight -thru exhaust fitted as featured on the Furuzawa FTO mounted smack-bang in the middle between the suspension arms underneath the fuel tank on the rear end (murcielago style!)

it's a cleaner design (less bends) so you should have no problems with back pressure whatsoever - would certainly help with your HP objectives!

thought about that but there isnt really enough clearance under the fuel tank.

I like the look of twin tips on each side

And 3 inch Stain less with free flow muffler and a resonator will give plenty of flow.

We got the 332.8 Hp with the nakaya tune exhaust system on it.

Should be no problem getting the 400 Hp next time on the dyno

Its not all about horse power, want it to look good too

The stainless exhaust is almost finished but will not be going with the twin, twin tips will be using A VTAD 76 on one side and a AUAD 76 on the other side, would like to use the twin twin tips but not enough room.

Had it running again today and sounds a lot differant, will take some pics of the finished system tomorrow just waiting for the stainless tips to arrive from the east in the morning.

Then its back on the dyno.

Hopefully we have sorted out the boost control, wont know till we dyno it later this week.

Any way will post some new pics tomorrow night

cheers

with 18psi, it's all a matter of time mate...

you should get a boost controller that gives you a set amount of max boost for each gear, that way if tuned properly the gearbox will live an extra day or so... LOL

oh, and the brakes - don't forget the brakes!

hehehe

just want to go fast

worry about how to stop later

seriously will upgrade to DBA gold series rotors for time being

and the computer has a boost controller built in just have to adjust it.

And i wont run it on 18 Lb all the time, will keep the 18 Lb setting on a memory chip that you can switch between and run it around 14 most of the time.

Just want to find a manual gearbox for the FTO to have rebuilt does anyone know of a manual gearbox that is U/S

From what I read the Kangaroo Paw brakes are the best

Matt last time i checked the DBA catalogue the best rotors they had for the FTO was the gold series, and they have only been added in the last 9 months as when i first got my FTO DBA didnt even list them as i rang them and told them which rotors matched the FTO and asked if i could get them in the gold series. which they couldnt do at the time.

Do you know if they do the kangaroo paw ones for the FTO

eventually i want to put evo brakes on, so a set of gold rotors will do for now or kangaroo rotors, as untill i get the drive line strengthened dont plan on giving it to much stick

Maybe if a few of us ring and ask they will do a 4000 series for the FTO
