auto to manual
i have had thoughts about getting my FTO converted from an auto to a manual, however i have no idea about how much it would cost, if it can be done, where and who can do it.
if anyone could shed some light on my situation, it would be appreciated.

The reason I didn't get a manual was this: only about 10% of FTOs are manual, I got sick of searching for a manual with all the other features I wanted, so when I found one with all my other prefered options, I bought it.Deeps wrote:Raven, how come you didn't buy a manual to begin with?

not to mention that it will void your insurance cover indefinitely!rxboy wrote:Remote starter kits are illegal on manual cars whether or not they have that safety feature built in.
...oh and also, i've been told (by someone who makes a living out of installing car alarms) that having a remote starter kit also makes it easier for the car to be stolen because if the thief knows what he's doing, it's very easy to hotwire and bypass the key ignition on the car...
