I was just thinking the same stuff while reading these posts. So what would be a good temperature to get for the FTO? I'm interested in the 8000K blue ones, but would this be a bad decision?bobz wrote:Please be under no illusion HID lights in a FTO are illegal, because the headlight was not designed for it, the car is not equiped with self leveling headlights and there is no high intensity headlight washers fitted to the car.
However can I get a set with 4300K globes.

6000k will be the best choice, you will have more problems with a noicsy exhust than HID as long as you don’t go over bored like 12000k whitch is purple. I got 6000k on my car and I have driven be hide cops, in front and next to them and nothing is said…noccers wrote:I was just thinking the same stuff while reading these posts. So 6000k (white) should be no problems….

I've got a 6000k Jap HID and don't have a problem what so ever with cops. You just have to make sure you adjust the beaming angle after the installation.
Heres a chart i've post up few times, it should make things clear for those whos new to HID.
