Majorly Playing up.. Please Help!!

Post by Cbrown1986 »

Hi all,

Well today I changed my spark Plugs - i put new NGK - BKR6RIX-11 plugs in..

Changed my oil over as well whilst i was there.

Now my car is very sluggish and eventually stalls when idling. It blows black smoke when idling also. I took it for a drive about 5 km and it gets really jerky and has got no balls..

Any suggestions as to what it could be?

I have photos of the rear plugs and the manifold if anyone ever needs to know where the rear plugs are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Cheers

how are all your vacuum lines, check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and to the map sensor which sits on the fire wall, they should have no air leaks.

Sounds like vaccum line to me. Get them the wrong way around and she bellows smoke like nothing else.

There are two on the firewall - swap them around the other way and see what happens.

OK, and what are all those things you said? I have NFI..

In both the pictures, theres a little black pipe thing coming ou from the middle of the manifold, where does that connect to?

The one on the rear should plug into the map sensor on the firewall and there should be one near the throttle body behind the radiator cap, that goes to the fuel pressure regulator.
