Oil Help PLEASE!!!

Hi all. I know there is probably a post that will tell me exactly what I want to know but I've been looking for a bit and can't find...so I'll just ask.

Which oil should I use in my FTO GPvR MIVEC. My car is not used for any track work, just round town and open road...

lot of people will say redline .. 10w30. you're safe with between that and 15w40. depends on how old your engine is too.

Thanks hobbsie. Getting a service tomorrow at a new mechanic...just wanted to check to make sure he uses the right stuff.

Forgot to say also in last post she has just done 100,000 I know she needs her new cam belt, but right now just a basic service to keep her happy while trying to sell her. And yes the buyer will be told she needs a cam. But will be cheaper because of it.

generally needs more than jus cam belt.. often aircon belt, water pump, oil pump, and other stuff can need replacing.. costs around 1k, but dont have to do it all bang on 100k kms.
