New Beast, Buy unregistered ?

Post by G_A_V »

I put down a Depsoit on a new Beast today
Image

The guy just imported it, and he said he will do it 1.5k cheaper if Its unregistered, and he will give me all the papers to register it, should I trust him, Im worried in case I have trouble registering it, It has all the compliance plates and everything. He said he does that on most his cars

looks hot...not sure I would check out the deal with getting an import evo registered. Shouldn't be a big deal unless they have something different form the aus. versions.

itll cost you nearly a grand to get it registered already, and they will probably inspect the car fairly thouroughly for defects, which would be why hes offering u the 1.5k discount .. i say just let him register it :)

rego transfer in QLD is 2% last i checked.. dunno if its different in NSW, but for $34.300 that means $686 rego transfer doesn't it?

you get a warranty too.. which i would definitely go for

ah so many fto owners go towards a gtst or a evo, wondering why nobody thinks of buyin an S15 :?

maybe its just my personal opinion but damn S15s r hot.. i remember that test drive i took in one before i bought my fto (i was gonna buy S15 but insurance is 4.5K + cant drive turbo on Ps) and damn I could just the G when i stepped on it!!

but i'm glad i bought an FTO over a S15 :)

anyway.. back on topic... damn 34K is good man.. u got a good price I honestly thought it would be a lot more than that
