Google FTO Gallery

Post by Spud »

I've just created a little FTO gallery on Google/Picasa...

http://picasaweb.google.com/ftogallery

Email pics of your own car to ftogallery@gmail.com and I'll create your album and start a collection.

Also include in the email...

1. Your name or nickname
2. Country
3. Description of your car
4. Favourite picture of the photos you send (for album cover)
5. Any comments you'd like to add under any or all of your photos

I've only added 5 pics myself as google only provide 250mb of space atm so don't send me 200 pics of your own car lol.

cool photos!!!

But I can suggest you to reduce the size of your image so that it wont occupy that much of space.. besides, reducing size to 1024X768 doesnt reduce the clarity of the picture when viewed on the screen. so, why not??

:) i'll email you the photos of my FTO in a short while...

Thanks for the web!

Hi lawrence,

Yeh the photos are 1024×768 atm. The standard res these days is 1280x1024 so anything lower than 1024×768 is too small on screen for my liking.

I'll see how it pans out though. If it gets too much I can always shrink em, or get more space hehe. It's all for a good cause. :)

I wouldn't put a pic of my fto out there for non FTO owners to see unless it was out of the ordinary :?

but it's great for this forum to see what other people's rides look like :D

Hey!

While I was driving two days ago, there's a thing that suddenly flashed in my mind...

I think we can get someone (who got some connections with printing companies or something) to design a "FTO CLUB" logo or vinyl or anything... so that those from the club can buy it and stick it on wherever they want to...

Or we can have some special designed logos which we can spray on the bonnet at the front diagonally.. i think it looks cool!!

by the way, it is just my imagination...

Ok doing really well, got 4 albums up today already.

The albums are arranged by the date of the album cover picture and not in the the order I uploaded them; I can't seem to change that at all.

If you want a direct link to your own album to show off to friends or add to your sig just put your username at the end of the link below.

http://picasaweb.google.com/ftogallery

eg. http://picasaweb.google.com/ftogallery/Tarkus

Remember if you want to add a description of your car, what you've done to it, why you love the FTO or whatever just shoot off an email to ftogallery@gmail.com and I'll add it to your album.

You can also add comments to specific pictures too if you want.

Keep sending your pics there is plenty of space left!

Yep no prob, don't want to interupt or undermine that. I will be posting my FTO in that gallery as well. And any other FTO gallery on the internet for that matter hehe; as I'm sure most other FTO owners would do as well. 8)
