Just received (6) 210cc injectors from RPW after having ordered them from their website here...

http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/index.php?pa ... &Itemid=31

Now maybe its just me but does anywhere on that website indicate that these are used or refurbished units? Since as soon as I opened them i could see they were used, there is dirt on them they look fairly old and they reek of fuel, even the ends are a bit rusty. Only two of them had the rubber gaskets for the wire harnes. My old injectors are in better condition!

I dont even know if they have been cleaned or flow tested! Mind you the price wasnt bad however I still feel a bit cheated expecting to get new injectors. For all I know these may be delivering less fuel than my 166s. Needless to say I am not impressed. They could at least indicate that they are used.

Im actually in Barbados in the Caribbean so probably worst charges and had them fedexed in. Thing is I dont even have anyone here with a flow tester that I could at least carry to see if they're working properly! I dont mind so much the fact that they are used if I knew for certainty they had been professionaly cleaned and tested first. But by the looks of the exterior alone, you would imagine they hadn't.

Yes i suppose you're right, didnt so much want to shame them as cry on someones shoulder
They have given me very good service in the past and everything went smoothly with this transaction, so I would still use them again, just wondered if I was maybe overreacting or possibly missed something on their website?

Yes new website needs some ahm, a lot of work.

Mind you for is it $45.00 each, I don't think they woudl be brand new.

But no fear as I said on later emails, the units came out of known running vehicles which had done less than 40,000km so your more than safe. Use them with complete confidence.

Website will be updated soon on that point.
