Technically its not an auto though  Its still got a clutch
No the auto is a proper one with a torque converter and all, the DSG is about 2 years away with the 2 clutches as per VW/Audi set up.

The reason the auto is quicker is because you can build up the revs and boost as well as torque against the torque converter for a very quick launch.

BobZ
the auto isn't quicker.

But the picture was not of a Boxter but a real porker, and someone that has cash and just got divorced will get a cab 4S and not a turbo. More girls will see him in a cab.
anyone who needs his car for girls has already lost.

Have you been to Toorak or Chapel for breakky on a summer sunday morning, its a frigging boxter and other cab rama with the suitably younger blonde seat cover arriving for breakfast with their new boy friends.

Hey i dont care if its right, but its such a pisser to watch.

No I am not a convertable person you loose too much rigidity in the car. One of my friends had a cafe in Chapel St so I use to go and do brekky there and say hello on sunday mornings.

I totally agree with the concept of this comment, I don't get some people who assume they have nice cars and try to use it pick up??

I mean that's not the reason u buy your car
