How long you can leave the engine without running?

Soon, I am of for about 8 weeks holiday. 8)
If this too long of a time to leave my FTO behind without running?
I can always get my gf to start the car once a week, as the gf is not coming with me, however, I rather gf doesnt touch the car at all.
She doesnt like my gf too much. :P

just disconnect the battery & you should be fine, 2 mths isn't that long. :wink: Most mechanics & panel beaters had cars in their workshop much longer then that, while they are waiting for parts.

your fuel economy will be bad once you get back :P

it happened to me... the fuel that was in the car gave really bad economy... but when i filled up again.. it was all good again!

Well my mini hasnt been fired in 5 years...

my r33 has been in the workshop for over 2 months...we fired it up today and was fine...3 months should be ok.

hey max, u've moved to hoppers crossing ye?

so just around the corner from joel and myself...

if your concerned about leaving your car sitting for 8 weeks, u can always give us the keys and we'll "start" it up for u daily if u like :lol: :twisted:
