Help with timing belt

Post by patty »

I need some help.

How do i know if the timing belt has been replaced.

What would happen if the timing belt snap, is there a warning that this is going to happen. Would you hear any noise coming from the engine like something loose.

if the timing belt goes while driving down the road....well you might as well put in for a new engine :)

look at the teeth and the edge of the belt to check for wear marks, cracking and fraying (and over streching). doesnt the fto information section say 80K ?

depends how you drive to.
