selling an FTO

Post by artful_dodger »

Hello

i have read several threads on how to buy and FTO but have not seen any threads on how to sell an FTO

For those of you who have sold one - what is the best strategy

We went into a showroom on Saturday -looking at 4x4 utes (looking to imbrace the Ozzy way of life having been here for 4 months now) and was appalled to here how little they would give me for my pride and joy

Especially when they were saying in the car park how good in looked and even when the manager asked about it as he was looking for one !!!!

Thanks

Artful

Well you can use website like carpoint.com.au & carsales.com.au. Those two are the most popular one.

What ever you do, please don't use the following terms/words. It’s the stupidest things I've ever read when it comes to advertising a vehicle.

*Auto salon Competitor

Well firstly, DON'T go to a car yard and sell it to them, they'll offer you like 4000 for it, and you can easily sell it for $11-15k depending on the condition.

carsales.com.au would be your best bet.
