but i will go in for some leads

now are the colours determined by size? ie
7=black
8=blue
8.5=red

?
if so are we assuming the size will make stuff all difference in the real world?

any input would be nice...wanna make a decision for the group buy

Bob,
I think size has got nothing to do with the colour.
Many people choose 8mm, I think because the diff between 8 and 8.5mm is not noticable, and doesnt worth the extra $$$
Again, blue colour that everyone seems to like is just a personal choice.
Any colous is available in any size

yeah u can choose wotever color and size...its up to u! have a look at the previous page about their leads and what they claim to do...size...well if we all choose the same (whihc it is so far we will have better bargining power for sure)

One thing to keep in mind is that the origional prices where base don the assumption of the leads and plugs being sent together so u can save on cost....

If its one or too...I'II prob just send from work for u but not too many...but just keep this in mind.

ok I initaiily didn't understand what they said...and SilentBob is right! Each size is a different color so for 8mm its blue. So most ppl will be happy!!!

i was right

(after looking around i was gonna come back and suggest that I was because all the sites i saw listed the sizes based on colours)

also, apparently the 8.5's are from their race range so dont have their 'supression' stuff built in(which i think is a bit of BS anyway but if you are getting these in the hope to reduce some electrical interference it may be an FYI for you)

anyway, if EVERYONE is going the 8mm then ill follow suit to make it easier(though in reality the 7's would do the same job

)
and as for colour, i guess its blue(though you wont see it under the mivec cover anyway

)

Yeah 8.5's are an absolute bastard to make too. I was out there some months back watching mine get made. We had heaps of trouble (apart from the fact it was the first non mivec set he'd made & had to get dimensions from the UK) but feeding the 8.5mm into the spark plug boots on the ends is a nightmare. He had to core them out with a straight grinder, where as the 8 went in with just a bit Vaso!
